550 fps with only 8 lbs Cocking Effort

The overcocking feature means that the cocking handle is hinged at the front of the receiver and lifts upward from the rear. The handle actuates a ratcheted wheel that provides a lot of leverage so cocking effort is only eight pounds and yet it is factory rated at over 500 ft/sec. The cocking stroke is longer, but much easier than comparable air guns. Cocking the air gun automatically exposes the breech for loading a pellet into the 8" barrel. In addition to the ambidextrous safety, which resets automatically when cocking, there is a cocking lever lock that must be engaged before the air pistol can be fired.
